Michael served in the US ARMY as an Infantry Sniper for 12 years. He spent 2 years in IRAQ and in 2018, ended up hanging up his rifle and picking up a tufting gun! Art has always been a passion of his and he hopes to one day master the art of Hand-tufting in order to bring well crafted, high-quality, luxurious rugs to the public.

Company name: pronounced, " ah-mon ", AMUN comes from the Egyptian god of Creation and TUFT or tufting is the process of using a tufting gun to attach yarn to canvas. The name was a good mix of short, sweet and badass!

Currently : The design team is comprised of me, myself and I. It is independently owned and operated.
